La meva darrera entrada

Aquesta és la meva darrera entrada del curs, i probablement la darrera en una llarga temporada. No sé si continuaré o no, però si ho faig, no ho faré amb tanta freqüència.
També volia dir-vos que a l'entrada sobre la regeneració dels Senyors del Temps només l'han vist dues vegades, i crec que almenys una d'aquestes dues vegades vaig ser jo.
Bé, això és tot, i que passeu un bon estiu.

Daleks

Los Daleks (en catalán Dàleks) son unos enemigos de la serie Doctor Who creados por Terry Nation, cuya fundación posee los derechos de autor sobre estas criaturas a medias con la BBC. Aparecieron por primera vez en diciembre de 1963 en el serial The Daleks, también conocido como The Mutants y The Dead Planet.

Na River Song és una arqueòloga i viatgera en el temps interpretada principalment per Alex Kingston, també ha estat interpretada per na Sydney Wade, na Nina Toussaint-White i na Maya Glace-Green, en castellà ha estat doblada per n'Amparo Bravo.
Tota ella és un gran espòiler, ja que mor a la seva primera aparició i després el Doctor se la va trobant en el seu passat, és a dir, en el passat d'ella, perquè ella i el Doctor viuen en una línia temporal diferent i viatgen en l'ordre contrari. Està casada, perquè es va casar a l'episodi El casament de la River Song. Ella és mig humana, mig Senyor del Temps per haver estat concebuda dins el vòrtex del temps.
A partir d'aquí hi haurà molts d'espòilers, però també pot ajudar a entendre la seva línia temporal.

TARDIS

La TARDIS (en catalán el TARDIS) es una máquina del tiempo cuyas siglas significan Time And Relative Dimension In Space (Tiempo Y Dimensión Relativa En el Espacio). Permite viajar en cualquier lugar del tiempo y el espacio, puedes ir al presente, pasado o futuro, también permite ir a la Tierra o a cualquier otro planeta, satélite (natural o artificial) o asteroide.

There is the Doctor's sonic screwdriver and the Bad Wolf, who is a reference to the story ark of the first Doctor Who season

The sonic screwdriver is a multi-purpose device used by the Doctor, it is used to open locked doors, reverse the weapons polarity, repair and break robots, control human and alien computers and do medical check up, it also can be used as a TARDIS remote control, but it doesn't work with wood and deadlock seals.

It appeared in 1968 with the second Doctor in the serial Fury from the Deep, it works with sonic waves, it changed many times of shape but the idea has been more or less the same during all the time.

Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf és un complexe de negocis de Londres a l'illa dels Gossos, que es troba al riu Tàmesi. En un d'aquests edificis, anomenat Torre de Torchwood és on hi ha la seu centra de Torchwood, Torchwood 1, allà hi ha un magatzem molt gros on hi desen una enorme quantitat de productes confiscats als extraterrestres.

The regeneration

The regeneration is a process by which the Time Lords, as the Doctor, can change of  shape, aspect and including character and personal tastes when they are too much sick or hurt. Time Lords has got a total of 12 regenerations, with a total of 13 incarnations, that is to say, that 13 different actors could play the same character.

On the previous video you can see the 10 first Doctor's regenerations, from the first to the eleventh, the regenerations that are missing are the one from the eight Doctor to the War Doctor, the one from the War Doctor to the ninth Doctor and the one from the eleventh to the twelfth Doctor. Now I'm going to explain the motives of each regenerations.
Be careful there could be Spoilers, specially in the videos and the regenerations explanations.

Rose Tyler

Rose Tyler, whose real name is Rose Marion Tyler, is a character performed by Billie Piper, she is the companion of the 9th and 10th Doctor, during the first and the second season, she is the first companion of the new series. She is from London and she lives with her mother Jackie, her father, Peter, died in a car accident when he went to a friends wedding, at that time Rose was a baby. Some years later her mother told it. She is also known as Bad Wolf.

The last time that she appeared,  she went to live with a copy of the Doctor in the parallel world. Some years later, her image was used by the Moment, the bomb used to destroy Gallifrey. At the first episode she worked in Henrik's, a department store based in Harrods and she had 19 years old and a boyfriend called Mickey Smith, at the beginning of the episode she was in Henrik's basement when some mannequins attacked her, the Doctor saved her and they discovered that they were Autons controlled by the Nestene Consciousness, at the end of the episode she decided to travel with him.

La bufanda del Mallorca

A veces las series hacen referencia al mundo real y Doctor Who no iba a ser la excepción. Pero lo que nadie se esperaría, y menos de una serie extranjera  es que aparece una bufanda del RCD Mallorca.

Esto ocurrió en el episodio Tercera Guerra Mundial, segunda parte de Alienígenas en Londres, en que los Slitheen, una familia de Raxacoricofallapatorius pretende destruir el planeta para sacar beneficio vendiendo los restos.

Gallifrey

Gallifrey es el planeta natal de los Señores del Tiempo, raza a la que pertenece el Doctor, se encuentra situado en la constelación de Kasterborous, en las coordenadas galácticas de10-0-11-0-0 * 0-2, desde el centro galáctico y a 250 millones de años luz de la Tierra, lo que lo sitúa fuera de la Vía Láctea y está lo más cerca posible del centro de la galáxia.
El planeta es varias veces más grande que la Tierra, desde el espacio se ve de un color anaranjado, rojo y marrón, tiene árboles con hojas de plata que hacen que en el amanecer parezca que el bosque está en llamas, también tenía bosques verdes, campos dorados y desiertos rojos, en general es más seco que la Tierra, según el 6º Doctor es "como el Serengeti todo el año".

Doctor Who is a BBC series created by Sydney Newman, C. E. Webber and Donald Wilson. It is about a time traveller called the Doctor who comes from a race called Time Lords who lived in the planet Gallifrey. He has been performed by 12 actors, seven at the classic series, one at the film and the other ones at the modern series, it currently performed by Peter Capaldi.

Doctor, el personatge

El Doctor és el personatge principal de la sèrie, que per això té aquest nom, és un senyor del temps del planeta Gallifrey, viatja pel temps i l'espai en una nau espacial robada anomenada TARDIS amb la forma d'una cabina de policia dels anys 60 del Regne Unit.
Ha estat interpretat per 13 actors, s'explica el canvi d'actor amb l'habilitat dels éssers de la seva espècie de canviar de forma quan estan ferits de mort, sempre i quan aquesta no es produeixi massa ràpid, 12 d'aquestes regeneracions han estat numerades de l'1 al 12 (Doctor 1, Doctor 2 ...) i un altre ha estat el doctor guerrer. Els actors que l'interpreten són:

Doctor Who, la sèrie

Doctor Who és una sèrie de la BBC creada per Sydney Newman, C. E. Webber i Donald Wilson. Tracta sobre un viatger del temps anomenat el Doctor que prové d'una raça anomenada Senyors del Temps, que residien al planeta Gallifrey. Ha estat interpretat per 12 actors, 7 a la sèrie clàssica, 1 a la pel·lícula i la resta a la sèrie moderna, actualment està interpretat per Peter Capaldi.
